Isaiah 41: 10
Today’s text is another promise that was directed to God’s chosen people, Israel. It is also a promise that can be applied to Christians everywhere. It speaks of God’s faithfulness on those who call on His name. Those who place their trust in Him.
A couple of days ago, the lights went out, when our grandaughters were with us. When they went out, they were fearful in the sudden darkness, but when we assured them that we were “with them”, we got a light going and they ran to us. Child of God, He is with you. Run to Him. He is the light. No matter how dark it is right now, He will be your strength. He will be your help. He will hold you up when everything else is falling around you. “Fear not” why? Because He is with you.
Father thank you for the reminder. Help us to run to you always. We need you today. Thank you for Jesus, who took our sins away.
Verse 10 Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
