1 Peter 3: 10-11

Do you know them? You know.. those people who are always upbeat. They love life. They flourish. They always have good to speak. They are at peace, even with those who are not. Everything they touch turns to gold. It is apparent, they are blessed and highly favored. Nothing affects them negatively. They lift others up. Did you know?There is a recipe to be that type of person?

It’s a simple recipe.. Just stir it into your life and see what happens. Be careful what you speak.. Be careful what you do.. The word “repent” is also in this recipe. You must “turn away” from speaking evil. You must “turn away” from doing evil. Then add a little seeking peace, even pursuing it, by spending time with the One who measures out peace.

Let me encourage you today friend, to mix all these ingredients into your life, and let them all simmer you into a person pleasing to the Lord, and those around you. Then.. tell ’em about the One who set you free. His name is Jesus the Christ.

Verses 10 & 11 For “Whoever desires to love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit;let him turn away from evil and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it.
