2 Samuel 22: 4
A song of praise from David this morning. As I look at out text this morning, I see three things:First I see action on David’s part..”I call” upon the Lord..Did you know, child of God, that when we “call” upon the name of God, He hears us? Then I see praise… “Worthy to be praised” God honors our praises, and He is worthy to be praised… Last, I see a confidence in present tense… not past or future, but right now! “I am saved” from my enemies. I’m so glad we serve a God of present tense. He saves me NOW. Yes, He has saved me in the past, He is powerful enough to save me in the future, but oh… He saves me NOW… I hope you know Him. He is faithful in the past, and He will be faithful forevermore…
Father, thank you for your great faithfulness. We need you again today, to help us see you more clearly. Thank you for all my friends. Bless them today with your presence. Thank you for Jesus, who took all our sin away…
Verse 4 “I call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.”
