Hebrews 4: 15
There are many things I do not understand about Jesus the Christ, our God, and His Word, the Bible….
Just because I do not understand does not mean that I do not believe, and trust and obey His Word.
I sure don’t understand how much love it must take for the God of the universe to come down to this earth and make Himself flesh like us..especially when I consider what He came to do….
He came to be tempted.
He came to be spit upon.
He came to be mocked.
He came to be beaten.
He came to be rejected.
He came to be in pain.
He came to be disappointed.
He came to mourn.
He came to weep.
He came to die.
He came to seek and save the lost.
He came… and because He came, He understands. HE UNDERSTANDS!!!
Friend, whatever you are going through, Jesus experienced it. There is nothing you can experience that is beyond His reach, His understanding. He has been where you are. He knows your pain. He knows your weakness. He knows your disappointment. He knows your hurt. He knows… Because of that, we can go to Him in full confidence, knowing He has walked the path we are on. Even though it may be hard to see the end, trust Him today. Give it all to Him. Trust Him well today. He will exchange all that fear, hurt, and doubt with peace beyond understanding. Because He knows…and He loves you.
Verse 15 “For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.”
